Jawazat roundabout is the second biggest circle in Kuwait city (200m diameter and 31,400 m2), at the axe of the vital very high traffic fifth ring road, joining Bidaa roundabout, 1km to the East of Kuwait city, facing the Red Sea.
In both roundabouts, we have selected a variety of Cactus plants that grow naturally in Kuwait City adapting the hot weather. The particularity of the Jawazat roundabout is that it is crossed by a tunnel and divided in two parts. The Challenge was to reunify them through a pedestrian bridge. A modern important sculpture represents the oil industry.
